1. What is your educational and career background?
Answer: Having graduated from Bangkok University, I have been practicing as a lawyer for 16 years.
2. What legal practice areas do you currently work in?
Answer: I am a lawyer conducting civil, criminal, labour, construction and insurance cases.
3. What specific skills and expertise do you have which you think can be of benefit to your clients?
Answer: My expertise in civil, criminal, labour, construction and insurance cases can be of benefit to my clients.
4. What do you think is important when you are serving your clients?
Answer: The most important thing when I provide service as a lawyer for a client is to keep confidential the secrets of my client.
5. What is your greatest achievement in your legal career?
Answer: A client coming to see a lawyer indicates that they are in trouble. Thus, apart from conducting the case for the client using the full extent of a lawyer’s knowledge and ability, a lawyer can accomplish a great achievement by contributing to the mental healing of his client, who will then be relieved of his/her trouble or worry.
6. What legal issues/ areas are you interested in and why?
Answer: I’m interested in issues regarding laws relating to online transactions because in modern society, technology has changed human ways of life considerably. Sales, purchases, transfers or receipts of money or others have increasingly become a part of our daily lives. Moreover, the progress of such digital technology has resulted in more crimes being committed online. Therefore, lawyers should study the guises of criminals who sneak into online systems, so as to find ways and laws to take legal proceedings against them.
7. What skills and attributes do you think makes a good and effective lawyer?
Answer: To be a good lawyer, one must be sincere, be understanding of a client’s feelings, keep a client’s secrets and be able to find a solution or recommend a method which is of greatest benefit to their client.
8. What is your opinion about the firm’s direction in the new global legal society?
Answer: The world has started to change to an online one, thus many kinds of digital technologies have changed or developed over time. Given this, the firm must adjust its style of performance so that it is in accordance with these changes in technology. Moreover, lawyers should learn how to apply digital technology to achieve higher efficiency in their work.
9. In your opinion, what do you think DLO should do to improve its lawyers’ ability to better serve its clients’ needs?
Answer: The firm should encourage its lawyers to have knowledge of more diverse areas such as promoting and developing their knowledge regarding digital currency systems, developing their knowledge in terms of online sales and purchases and online transport systems, in response to clients’ needs, which are tending to change.
