DLO Participates in International SOS Foundation Seminar on Managing Travel Risks for International Travelers

On Wednesday 18 May 2016, DLO participated in International SOS Foundation’s seminar on Managing Travel Risks for International Travelers. The seminar was held at the Intercontinental Bangkok Hotel and was well attended with about 60 executives and HR personnel coming to listen to the various speakers. DLO’s Foreign Services Manager Mr. Ryan Crowley delivered a presentation on legal issues relating to an employer’s duty of care when they send staff to work overseas. His speech focused on a range of matters including legal duties imposed on employers by the Occupational Safety, Health and Environment Act (2011) and the Workmen’s Compensation Act (1994). DLO was proud to be invited to present at the seminar and looks forward to working with International SOS Foundation into the future.
